About

My college education thus far has been far from average or neat. The start of my career at IU was during the height of the Covid-19 pandemic, a time when everyone was scrambling to figure out what to do for the future and settle into a new normalcy. Because of that, many new standards of design have come about that were not specified before. The way people used and organized spaces pre-pandemic has changed and evolved to accommodate many preferences surrounding privacy and flexibility. My interior design program at IU has worked to improve and update the curriculum to help my classmates and me stay up to date on standards and regulations. I am fluent in AutoCAD and Revit software, as well as Twinmotion rendering services. I have spent ample time designing spaces on these programs, and constructing presentation boards on InDesign to present my work. I have a working knowledge on ADA standards, material specifications, and Sketchup.

Paired with my Interior Design major, is a Psychology minor. In any industry, working with and understanding the people using the space or product is important to the success of a company. Learning how humans interact with their surroundings and how that affects their perceptions is a useful skill.
